The B&B Artemisia is a traditional Bed and Breakfast that has been offering welcoming hospitality since 2006. The structure is located in a private, spacious, and large dwelling in the heart of Vittoria. Although completely independent, the B&B gives guests the feeling of being at home, enjoying all the services available in the city center. The structure can be easily reached from Comiso airport, the train station, and the bus terminal. The B&B has two rooms identified by yellow and blue colors, and a shared kitchen. The rooms are located on the first and second floors, connected only by ramps of stairs. Each room has an en-suite bathroom with a hairdryer, air conditioning, flat-screen TV, and Wi-Fi. Breakfast can be enjoyed in the cozy kitchen of the B&B or at the affiliated bar. Upon request, guests can use the B&B kitchen.
I have a degree in Pharmacy and run a Parapharmacy. Specializing in food intolerances, I understand the difficulties faced by those who need to follow special dietary regimes and am always available to assist guests with care and attention.
I am passionate about theatre, art, reading, and tango, which has become my favorite hobby.
I am happy to welcome those who wish to discover Sicily beyond the prejudices and stereotypes of the past. I like to show interested parties a part of Sicily that seems hidden from view due to negative news that paints this beautiful land as a dangerous place: the real and only danger is prejudice and a lack of knowledge about places and people.
A glass of Cerasuolo and a stroll among the people and the city tell much more than any news report.
My home is open to guests without restrictions: I often make the kitchen available, with a small supplement to the room price. I only ask for respect for guests and the hygiene of the common areas.
The structure is located in the heart of the historic center of Vittoria, on a street parallel to the main street, Via Cavour. Along the main street and in the surrounding areas, you can find shops for shopping, pubs, pizzerias and restaurants. The area is well served by banks and a post office and is located a short distance from Palazzo Iacono, the seat of the Municipality of Vittoria.
In Piazza del Popolo, you can visit the Church of the Grazie and the Municipal Theater "Vittoria Colonna", which organizes various theatrical and musical seasons throughout the year. Continuing along Via Cavour, you arrive at Piazza San Giovanni, where you can find the Basilica dedicated to the patron saint of Vittoria. Continuing further, you arrive at Piazza Henriquez, where the homonymous castle and the Mazzone Hall are located, housed in the ancient power plant of Vittoria.
